The site is fairly homey, but it was purposely made that way to make the website appeal to homeowners in Los Angeles and other parts of California. The site, after all, is all about the different types and styles of replacment windows and doors.

For all intents and purposes, the website is a sales and marketing tool for BH Kruper’s wide array of products. The company’s products include replacement windows and new aluminum windows, vinyl windows, wood windows, fiberglass windows as well as aluminum doors, entry doors vinyl doors, and wood doors.

We worked with BH Kruper for the website’s design and architecture. We recognize that, in order to appeal to homeowners in California, the website needed to feature as much information as possible on windows and doors. The website too had to feature a call to action - like getting a quote and eventually buying - for the business to be profitable.  

DVX’s team of web designers and web copywriters coordinated closely with the people of BH Kruper to create a website that not only informed, but also called visitors to act.

While we made use of the most commonly used programming languages to create the website’s static pages, it was equally important for us to create a page where website visitors could ask for a quote on their favorite windows and doors. To this end, we used Java OSQuote to create the free quotes page. Java OSQuote pares down quotations down to its barest essentials– it is actually a simple online price quote system composed of:

If anything, our use of Java OSQuote has freed up our man hours so that we are able to concentrate on creating the other pages of the website. The free online estimate page has also freed up the man hours of BH Kruper’s staff since it is running product quotes on auto pilot.
